Primary Inspection Cover Seal

I have a 2014 TG too. Clutch Cover: 25416-99C

Primary Gasket: 34901-07

FWIW ;)

25416-99C is for an older twin cam 88 motor CLutch Inspection cover.

34901-07 is the proper P/N for the Primary Cover big gasket .... not the clutch inspection cover.

FWIW I have the OEM 2014 Trike Parts Manual. 17369-06 is the P/N shown in the Parts Manual.

It is only sold with the 3 o-rings packaged with it.

Correct, 17369-06 is the "gasket service kit". 25416-99C is the seal for the inspection cover.

The newer TC 103 clutch inspection cover does not show the use of that flat gasket. I have changed my Primary fluid many times and have always used the newer style rubber ribbed gasket which fits in the primary cover groove.

I'm posting the 2014 Trike parts manual exploded view and hope this puts an end to this thread. :xzqxz:

Bob - Appreciate you clearing that up and thanks for posting the schematic. I went with your original response and ordered the kit. Didn't think I would cause this much controversy with a simple question.......:)

Thats the nature of forums... Sometimes without Voice-Inflection, The Typed word can sometimes be misconstrued.....

flat gasket

We actually just changed all the fluids in our '14 Tri Glide today. We decided we would put the "Ride Free" derby cover on so we purchased that when we purchased the filter. The new derby cover does indeed come with a flat gasket part number 25416-99C and when you order the derby cover it does note that you need to purchase this gasket. The new derby cover is flat inside and this gasket is made to fit both the old ones with the groove and the new ones without the groove (per our dealer parts person).

This is a great forum to ask questions and learn information. Both my husband and I use this forum quite often as it seems there is always something to be learned about these machines! Unfortunately sometimes what I would call "attitude" seems to get in the way of getting answers.
