Was cleaning up today, washing and putting away winter clothes. Began the task of bringing out the light weight summers stuff and two of my hats surfaced that I thought were long gone.

Rainy day the other day, so's the wifey and I went thru coat closets to cull out the old, newer, "outgrown", never worn coats, jackets, etc. Came out with an assortment of 43 that we were no longer using and bagged them up to take to Goodwill.
Even found buried in the corner of the garage closet, an unused, still in box, set of Camaro bucket seat covers in gray wool (YIKES, what was I thinking?). Haven't had that Camaro in about 8 years!
BTW, 2 yr. ago, culled out about 40 hats I hadn't worn in years too.
Amazing what you can collect over the years!

About 10 years ago i cut a new ATV trail though the woods 3/4 of a mile long, and to mark it as a joke i nailed hats thats i had collected over the years [25 hats?] to trees as trail markers, Now that trail is known as the hat trail...There all gone now eaten up by the critters , But its still known as the hat trail...And 20 years from some new member will ask an old member why is that trail called the hat trail, And then the story will live on..

Strange stuff I managed to collect over the years and some made no sense at all.
When I moved to Florida in 1978 I had hockey goalie gear from when I participated in a ladies ice hockey team in New York. I wound up putting it up on Craigslist under 'Free Stuff' and it was given to a person who was going to a college up north to participate on the hockey team.
Left Florida in 2013 and now in Ohio.
