If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
Maybe one of the two freebies will be the one.....
Better luck next time...I play the powerball & megamillions twice/week & haven't won anything more than a free ticket myself in the past 2 years, if that's any consolation
Bottom line: Ya can't win if ya don't play...

2019 Tri-Glide.......
I'd almost consider myself a winner if I got that close. I don't play too often but if I get a number to match I'm lucky. Lotterys just don't seem to be my game.
For me and my luck, lottery tickets are just a contribution. Heck, I don't know anyone who has won a lottery.
That's a lot better than I do, I would say that 99.9% of the time I don't get even one number to match. Then again if you don't play you will never win!
Further back than I can remember, prolly in the 80's before "Powerball", I matched all five numbers and won a whopping $100.

if you don't play you will never win
True, and if ya do play, there's a 99.99999999% chance yer gonna win a losing ticket.

Beware of liberals posing as Americans.
Closest I ever got, when I was working wholesale, one of my customers won $10,000. He had to drive from Wibaux to Helena to collect, 465 miles one way...
True story here:
last year one of my co-worked did indeed win the million dollar lottery...
This week a New Yorker finally stepped forward to announce his $350 mill win. He got $150mill . (Don’t hold me to the numbers) In NY you got to publicly reveal you won. Another way for NY to ruin your life. The news asked him why he waited to announce his winnings. His answer ; To consult a lawyer and speak to his financial guy.
Smart man
In reality it could ruin your life. Between woodpile relatives, phone ringing off the wall , We sell this and thaters, etc,.
Personaly it should be a personal issue with out publicity. So I’ll just stay the way I am , miserable allready with the friends that I choose.

Sully, if I'd had that ticket I'd have been popping nitro pills on my way to the ER! I NEVER win. But it doesn't bother me cause I won a lottery once...... The first year draft lottery back in the day. It'll be OK if I never win another.
I think its called the idiot tax. But as my father would say, ya can't win without a ticket Billy. I would like to win, give me the chance to ruin my life. But I can never remember to buy a ticket. I guess the only thing worse is buy one and with my memory forget where I put it.
Frank, since a NY'er won, maybe you should go out and buy a ticket. Ya just never know lightnin' can strike twice, plus it's your birthday.
Happy Birthday, Brother
Isn't it weird that in AMERICA, our flag and our culture offend so many people...but our benefits don't???
I don’t wanna be filthy rich but I wouldn’t mind being a little dirty
Last week I had a perfect lottery ticket... I didn't match a single number. The story of my life.
