Hello all from North Texas. Great forum. So I've joined the triking community. I bought a 2015 Freewheeler the last of March (a birthday present to myself) and simply love it. I never thought I'd own a Harley, and certainly not a trike. But as age continues its march onward, things change. It only had 268 miles when I bought it and now has a bit over 800. Taking it for 1,000 mile service tomorrow morning. I've added a trunk rack, backrest and trailer hitch to pull an Aluma MCT.
Two additional items I'm adding due to the Texas heat are Love Jugs Cool Masters, and a XiED fuel richener. I will install those early next week. The trailer is just about packed and I'll be riding to Appomattox VA on the 23rd of this month for the Horizons Unlimited Rally, then do the Georgia Mountain rally the following week on the way back. This is replacing a 2010 Tiger 1050 as my main touring rig.
I'm really looking forward to riding it on this trip and many more. The stability of 3 wheels helps restore my confidence. Touring bikes have simply become too heavy and tall for me these days. It's great to be a new member here and look forward to learning from the Freewheeler pros.
