Speedometer issue

Okay have a burgman 650. Last few days I have been riding noticed my speedometer on my bike is at 60 when I might be going as fast as 30. Is this a sensor issue on the front wheel?

It could be the pick-up sensor. Have you had any activity with the front wheel lately ? Try disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes to see if it might be a computer glitch...........

I went on the Burgman site see there is a reset button on the dash. I must have bumped it when I put my speaker on my dash causing it to switch from MPG to Kilometers. I pushed the reset button and now everything is back to normal. Glad it wasn't a major expense with the back or front wheel.
