Has anyone purchased one of these???--- (JM GL1500 CB, Volume, Mic On/Off Pass Controller)

If so are you happy with it????

I have a 1989 GW w/CB, intercom etc...

How hard is it to install???


I purchase nothing with out triketalk input.

Easy to install . Take off seat find the right plug and plug it in . Drill hole in Rear arm rest and screw it on. I will also tell you how you can install a Radio chan. changer so your co rider can change the radio stations from the rear seat.) Need to wire it in and buy 2 buttons from Radio Shack total cost $4.00 ) Volume control on it don't work to good. Actually all it does is lower the rear vol. The push to talk CB button works good

I hope everything is well on your homefront.

We mainly listen to the mp 3 player mainly through the external speakers.

The helmet speakers are for the intercom and CB. I looked at the pics and it showed about 3 - plugs.

I know where the pigtail is etc..in fact I have to replace both of them also.

You'd think they'd last longer then 21 years!!!!

As said easy install, a little bit os a squeeze on getting the harness plugged, all in all no big deal. Works well

Hondline unit sucks, so I bought a passenger volume control with push to talk button from Wing stuff for a bit over 60 bucks. Works well. I since saw a home boy conversion you can do to your stock unit on the Steve Saunders goldwing site. Looks easy and costs about 3 dollars! jimsjinx
