Jeesh!!! what a Diverse site this is!!!!!
I wanted to let yas know how I came about and built my "Harley" trike.
She's a 106" 4 5/8" stroked 3 13/16" bore Generator case...with special cylinders that allow for EVO heads, she's got dyna 2000I ignition and a SPUTHE cone slabside cam gear cover where an S&S 563 cam lives
Ya might say she's a "bitsa motor of Harley origin....and a titled 66 motor at that.
I've had the desire to build this unique motor for several years, she once lived in a rigid frame but gave way to my Vertigo bouts, lightheadedness to a trike build.
I use to shudder at the mere though of Trikes...but since I built 'er...I never looked back!!
I do all my own fabricating,wiring...some motor work and make up as many parts as practicality affords.
The frame is an early softtail with a DNA swingarm(wish I hadda gone with IRS type rear) and I've got a pair of 275/65-15 Goodyear eagle GT's on 'er.
The gas tank was on my Bike that I had the 106 motor in...and the front end was also on the bike...the trees are 7 degree jobs straight out of the CCI book,manufacturer..I'm not certain of.
I run an open primary with a 2" beltdrive from TECH. cycle products and I'm running 22 tooth off the 6 speed ultima trans. to a 50 tooth sprocket on the DNA rear
Right now I'm having some brake issues...which I'll address in an other thread.I think I may have the issue resolved but wont know till I light in one spot long enuff ta fix 'er.
