Compliments to the Trike Shop of Daytona

My trike was built by the Trike Shop of Daytona, which is ~220 miles away from my home. I'm so glad I have chosen this shop to do my conversion. Their service has always been at 110% before, during and after the sale.

Well, I just got back from Daytona, where my trike was serviced by them and once again they have exceeded my expectations. :bow: The reason why I decided to ride for almost 500 miles to get things done is because I trust that the Trike Shop of Daytona always has my best interest in mind and I'm certain that this is how they treat all their clients.

Unfortunately, most repair shops in my area don't care enough about retaining their clients and certainly don't pay attention to details, especially when they work on a trike. I for one, haven't found a good one yet. (if you know of one, please let me know)

Here is my recent experience:

When I took my trike to the local shop to simply change the front tire, they did a terrible job balancing and reinstalling the tire. I had to come back to the shop because of the rubbing noise that was not there before. When I did, I was actually told this noise is normal and that it will go away over time when brake pads wear off. When I insisted that to me it was not normal, it wasn't there before and I expected them to resolve this problem, they made me wait over an hour, while working on other bikes (even though I just left their shop). I later discovered the wheel was not seated correctly. They also told me that they did me a favor by working on my trike. Well, I did not ask for any favors, I paid for the services rendered. Finally the noise was taken care of, but I left their shop with a front wheel wobble, which has been corrected today by the Trike Shop of Daytona.

Obviously I will never go back to that shop again. After such an unpleasant experience, I must say that I appreciate the quality, great customer service and technical expertise of Trike Shop of Daytona even more and will not hesitate to recommend these guys to any of my friends.

We have a new shop here in Key Largo called Half-Breed. They do most trike conversions. I have been in there several times since they opened and am super happy with their work. if you are in Key largo and need work they are at MM 106.

What about Trikes by Design,Inverness Fl. I have used them for other things and have found them to be excellent. They always provide a service with a smile.

Trikes Trailers and Accessories in OKC is a top notch operation. I will drive/ride the 160 miles to have them work on our machine,even though there are 2 other trike shops within a 100 miles of me. Ron and Chelsea know how to run a business and will do whatever it takes to make you satisfied before you leave their lot.

They do CSC,Champion and Hannigan conversions,but will work on all models.


RPM in Abilene,Tx is another fantastic shop,Ron Roberts no longer does trike conversions,but he will still work on them and this guy knows Goldwings like nobody else.

Guys I hear that there is a good trike shop in DOTHAN,AL.if yall are ever in that neighborhood.They will also ship you parts and accessories that you need.JUST SAYING? RIDE SAFE
