Hello TRI Officers,
I want to thank you for your dedication and support of Trike Riders International (TRI) these past years.
As you may know, TRI has been around since April, 2003. As Officers in TRI, I want to bring you up to date with the latest information as we are at a turning point in our organization. TRI has just not reached the potential we thought it would since 2003 and many of you have written me with questions about the future of TRI after Bob and Linda Larson resigned. After careful consideration, we have decided to merge TRI into GWRRA.
What does this mean for you as concerned TRI Officers, as well as the Members, and for our TRI Chapters?

You will still be able to enjoy the TRI Group life that you enjoy now. The TRI groups will continue as they are. They will fall under the GWRRA structure. The current TRI Chapter Officer staffs will stay in place.
There will be a TRI Officer Conference Call on Thursday, October 21st, at 4:00 p.m., MST. You are encouraged to call in using the following information:

We will be discussing the transition of TRI into GWRRA, the timing, your role in this transition and how to best serve the members of TRI during this time period, as well as how to make the adjustment after the transition a smooth one for all the Members of TRI and GWRRA!
You are probably thinking about whether you will have to take the OCP as an Officer in GWRRA? In order to maintain your Officership in GWRRA, you will have to take the OCP, but no timeline has been established yet. We will be working with you individually.
Please note, those who ride non-Gold Wings will still be allowed to be Officers. This TRI policy will not change when we transition over to GWRRA.
Trikes, your quarterly magazine, will still be available for you to purchase at $10 per year and we will still continue with the Annual Trike Event. An announcement will be made very shortly as to the date and location for this event.
Below is the form we will be mailing to our TRI Members. Remember to please join us on the Conference Call Thursday, October 21, 2011 at 4:00 p.m., MST.
