ORDERED MY FRANKENSTEIN today 10/22/10

Today I finally made up my mind which trike. I ordered a 36" frank kit for my 03 v rod. I ordered it with 15x8 centerline auto drag wheels. Franks polished triple tree rake kit. And the dealer is gonna paint the fenders and the brackets also. I received a lot of help from the friendly folks here and at the frankenstein plant, thanks all. I don't know if I can give him a plug but he is in conroe, tx.

I bought a Frankenstein kit for my 2000 softail last January. Good investment... I absolutely love it. The ride is very stable. I was surprised at first. Now I whip it through the turns like it only has two wheels. Great product and great ride incorporating the softail suspension. Slow speeds on rough roads or parking lots are the only drawbacks. A friend saw a VRod triked out in the States recently and he said it was the coolest looking trike he's ever seen. Enjoy and please post some pics!

YEA!!! trikes4ever that was me..I left it with Philip . he has a full house and I'm hoping on getting it back friday, maybe. His trike all chromed out and mine make a nice pair together , can't wait....I like the way your deuce came out its great looking. How do you like the ride???/

Got about 100 miles on, and ride is great. Still playing with tire pressure - I'm at 18 now, but don't want to go much lower - Philip cautioned about too little pressure and the bead not holding. I've got Dynabeads in and the vibration Philip was experiencing was because the bags had not broken yet - once they did smooth as glass, and no wheel weights.

I've had some problems with the 'filtered' valves leaking / not closing so plan to replace them with regular valves and just use caution when I check / air up to keep beads from getting into the valves. Looking forward to some super riding weather the rest of the week. Nice to meet you. We need to get a bunch of us trikers together for a trike rally one of these days.

I'm in NW Austin, near 620 and 2222 cross roads. We could meet someday at the central texas HD in Round Rock, I help out with the grilling duties on saturdays when I'm not riding with the HOGs. Great group of people I'll have to see how the trike fits in with the big HDs. I'm still finding new roads in the hill country to ride. Some great roads with little traffic around here. I'll let you'll know and post pictures when I get my v rod back soon I hope, curley.
