I was stranded at a store on yesterday because the trike did not start as usual. I park in first gear with the parking brake applied. When I got ready to go, I squeezed the clutch lever and put my right foot on the rear brake pedal as usual; but the bike would not start. I pulled the 50 amp fuse and clean it due to minor corrosion, but that was not the problem.
After putting the bike in neutral, it started. This was the first time I had this problem. Is there anything (i.e. switch) that I can check without going to the dealer?
The owner's manual states that the bike should crank when the clutch is released and the brake is applied. In the past, I did not have to find neutral to start the engine.
Thank you,
