Running MPA, reverse mount, bead balance and have 22,000+ and still running. Not as soft as the Avon, but for my GL1800 Hannigan trike, great mileage on my Michelin.
Confort or mileage..$$$$$ Your choice! LOL

I'm running a Avon (unknown model -it's in garage and not going outside to check ##) but so far I've been very happy -it still seems to run smooth, although I have no other tire or trike to compare it too..and this is my very first trike experience.............Don't believe I'd ever go back to two wheels again........love it!!!

What tire pressure are you all running on the Avon Trike tire? When I first put mine on we were told by Avon that the psi should be 32. I was getting lousy performance but hey that is what we were told. Then at wingDing last year we were told 38. Now on the Avon site it is rated at 42. I now have mine set at 42. The performance is much better but this tire is worn out. I will give Avon another try with the correct pressure this time and see what mileage I get this time.
I got 23K out of my MPA mounted in reverse, but got noisy in the end and vibrated. I got 25K out of my first Avon and have the 2nd Avon Trike Tire on now.

30,000 MPA--41lbs mounted backwards
Looks like 25000 for us Avon trike tire, It's 20k now and some left with little cupping.12k will be in Fl. with 4 more this winter. I might have tried that BT-45 but sounds worse ride with similar miles, so we're staying with Avon. This trike came with a badly cupped Mich MP at 20k miles.
Happy Day
I put a Bridgestone 130/70-18M/C 63H on the front.
JMHO. ,,, I WOULD NEVER RUN A RADIAL ON THE FRONT OF A TRIKE
walls are too soft. Trikes don't lean so side wall takes all the pressure. They wear out too fast. No advantage . I have a macadam 50 with 23,000 on it. Sill looks good. I will most likely Change it this year
When I am gona fix something I will fix it. You don't have to bug me every 6 months.

I just ordered my second Avon Cobra Trike tire for my 2007 Goldwing with Champion conversion. I got 13,000 out of the first tire and it still has a little life left, but I don't want to push it. Love the tire!

I have 15,300 on OEM Dunlop with a bit more than 1/2 tread
On a 17 Freewheeler
This is the best mileage I have ever got on a stock front tire
