Little green button

Once again I have discovered something about my Stallion that I don't understand. I thought some of you with a lot more experience with them could help. Today as I was cleaning my Stallion I noticed a little green button about a half inch in diameter on the gear shifter handle. It is located just below the thumb button for shifting into park. It looks like it has an O/D on it. Keep in mind I have only had my trike for about three weeks. Is it an overdrive button? I would sure like to find out more about the button and I knew I someone knows the answer out there. I wonder if I will ever discover all of the little treasures on my trike!

It locks out the Over Drive for city driving and lights OD Off Lamp in the lower left of the warning lamp display between the tach and speedo. I think it only works when you are above a set speed though, may be wrong about that though.

Another switch that isn't explained very well is the fog lamp switch. You pull the knob of the main light switch that turns on the headlights to activate the fog lamps. There is a mod on this board somewhere for a buzzer you can install in the fuse box as a reminder to turn them off too.

Great for using the engine for some braking in the mountains. As you are going down a steep hill click off the O/D and it will save some of the necessary braking.
