    Compared to My Tri-Glide. Riding my wife's Spyder - it does "wander" more than the Glide. I attribute that to quicker moe responsive power steering. I too miss not having the Hand brake. But not to the extent of $1500, to put one on. (Just adjust - to both items.)

    The wandering you feel is the rear tire dropping off and on the crown on the road, Its a kin to the tail wagging the dog, You get used to it , At least i did...Relax and let it do its thing,White knuckles on the bars isn't needed the DPS Is very sensitive to heavy hand inputs......

    IRS has more moving parts

    This will drive the cost up for building it and maintaining it

    IMO the MOCO will not make this change

    I don't know about a TG wonder down the road but a Spyder sure will if you down ride it with light input. But as far as muscling a TG, you sure do compared to a Spyder and it's power steering. But it's also that power steering that cause people to wonder all over the road until they learn the light touch. Might you have misread my previous statement about wondering all over the road or did it just set you off generally from others statements?

    And, after adjusting tire/shock pressures as describe in other threads, the worst jolts I get come from the front end - the ones that bounce my hands off the bars and bang my knees into the tank emblems. Anybody else? Any fixes?

    Yes, from inexpensive to sorta pricey.

    For around $300 you can replace the springs and get Intiminators that will improve the front end quality significantly

    For around $500 you can get FST cartridges that will be almost as good as you can get.

    For $1300 you can get a front end ride quality that is as good as you will feel on any bike currently made.

    I didn't misread anything. You said - "Whereas the Tri-Glide is all hands on deck to muscle it down the road". You're just adding to the false myth of a TG being hard to steer. That's the first question/comment I get from people.

    You make it sound like you have to have a Gold's Gym membership to ride one = absolutely false and gives a false impression to someone that might want to take a test ride but won't now. There are hundreds of the fair sex riding the TG with no problem.

    Yes, I did misread your "wandering" statement and lump it into the "muscle" part of the comment - sorry about that.

    Compared to my Honda VTX1300R (two wheel), the '14 Triglide rides like a Cadillac. For long distance it's the only way to ride for the wife and I. Can the ride be improved? Sure but this ain't a luxury car and I don't have thousands to spend improving the suspension. Honestly we are happy with the way the Triglide handles and rides. Also, I have purchased the Comfort lifts from DK Customs but not yet installed, RevJ.
