carry helmets

New to the tri glide and packing for a weekend trip. When you do not want to wear your helmet(s) where do you put them if the trunk is full and the tour pac is full. Thanks in advance!!!!

H-D offers two bags that strap onto the luggage rack. One is a nice 'suit case' style with hard sides; the other a bigger soft side bag. The former is especially nice for weekends where one will be staying in a motel/other over night. One packs it with changes of clothes and toiletries for two and, on arrival, simply unsnaps it and goes inside, leaving the tour pac free to house two full face helmets if needed and the trunk to haul back souvenirs. I cannot imagine packing both the trunk and tour pack for a weekend.

I make sure there is always room in the Tour Pak for my helmets.

the best solution to the helmet issue is to find a state to ride in that is helmet free !!

if I don't have room in the tour pack I use a lock and cable that came with my pistol, it is small and never leaves the bike.
