gear oil for tranny ,primary oil for primary, engine oil for motor. No oil is right for all 3.

Redline oil works as well. I chose Redline for my bikes because of my experiences with it on High Speed Driver Ed days in My Porsche and Mini Cooper S-JCW.
I worked as a volunteer in our local PCA chapter for over 30 years, and most of those in the HSDE program, serving as course marshal, Instructor, Chief Instructor and Driver's Ed Chair. My Porsches often saw engine temps in excess of 300 degrees on warmer days. Redline oil helped keep the engine and tranny well lubricated and protected for over 360,000 miles without any rebuilds.
When I bought my first Harley, I was concerned with the engine heat, so moved to Redline Oils for all three holes. I have yet to see 300 degrees on any of my three Harleys nor 300,000 miles, but think the oil has proven itself to me with use in my Porsches and Mini.
Oh, the point... I did notice a BIG improvement in shifting as well as finding neutral when I changed the oil after the 1K break-in was done. I do recommend this stuff. Amazon has a well priced oil change kit available.

I changed to Lucas high performance 20W-50 full synthetic motorcycle oil in all 3 holes & noticed an improvement in shifting, but after a discussion on the Freewheeler forum, I have been convinced to run a dedicated tranny & differential fluid in those 2 resevoirs. I was considering staying with Lucas, but the number of positive reviews on Redline Shockproof are hard to ignore.

I have had good luck with Redline and Spectro 6 speed Platinum
Both stick to the gears good
Redlines claim is it bonds to gears and bearings

I fixed my shifting problem, But not by using magic oils. [Harley oil only]...I just ride the trike and i just get better at it, Either the trans is learning how i shift, Or i'm learning how it shifts...Works for me....

With a wet clutch there's always going to be drag on the clutch so there's a little pressure on the transmission too. To eliminate the drag you just force the clutch plates to spin @ greater speeds by blipping the throttle and the drag goes away. Now to find neutral, assuming you're in first gear, lift up a little on the gear **** and blip the throttle and you should slip right into neutral. (Or visa-versa for second.) If you went into second gear you lifted up too hard on the shifter. It just takes a little practice. Or you can do something similar with the engine off. Rock the bike back and forth in gear and find the middle of both extremes which should leave you with no pressure on the shifter and you should be able to easily move the shifter which ever direction you want it to go into neutral.
Beware of liberals posing as Americans.
I use Red Line v twin tranny and their primanry oil, does anyone else use it?
Yes,but I see no diff.
I use Redline in the tranny
I like it
Neutral seems easier, plus it shifts a lot better
May be just me, but I have tried many fluid s over the years and I will stick with Redline

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
I used to have trouble finding N, the changed using the Amsoil oil, primary & tranny. Problems solved! I will never go back to all oil. And I change all 3 every oil change service, cheap insurance, and I will do it as long as I am able to do it myself! I enjoy it and it is one of the few things I can still do easily!
