    Default Gloves

Hello, This question is to folks that ride in cold weather, 40's f or below. I ride year round and have for about 45 years. The only problem That I haven't solved is cold hands. I don't want to be wired to my bike and I tried the hand warmer packs, but they are tricky getting them in the gloves in the right place, especially for short rides. What do you folks in the colder climates wear? Thanks for your time,

I can ride in the 30's with just Mechanic hi-inpact gloves, Down into the teens i use a gore-tex type glove called Spiders....That said my hands don't get cold very easy, Plus with the Tri-Glide faring my hands aren't out all the way in the open...My Son on his Honda has shields that go on over the cluch and brake levers might be something you should look at for your handle bars...

When you get your gloves be sure to get a size larger so that you can wear a pair of wool liners inside the glove. Pull your jacket sleeve over the glove also. Most jackets have a zipper on the end of the sleeve to make it tight over the glove.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Had something called 'Hippo Hands" when I was younger in Minnesota. They attached to the bars and you put your hands inside them. Wore regular winter gloves in them and stayed warm. Heated grips would keep you really toasty.

Check out the gloves that ice fishermen use. I have the Ice Armor ones, work well in ND...
