Default Who's all going to the 4th annual deadwood 3 wheeler rally (july 10th - 15th)

We decided to do a prelminary count on where the trikers will be coming from for the 4th Annual Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally held in Deadwood July 10-15, 2018. These numbers are based solely on the hotel reservations from the Travelodge/First Gold Hotel property. As of October 31st we estimate 297 trikers from 32 states and Canada have already made plans to attend. We are still over 8 months away from the event - WOW!!! Formal registration should be open by mid February, early March, 2018. Please refer to the rally's website, www.d3wr.com for further instruction and more details. Hope to see you there!

Thanks Bill, for your response. Other than myself, you're the first TT member that plans to attend and it your case, RE-ATTEND. I hope to see that others will include it into their list of "To Do Events" for 2018. Looking forward to another successful year.

    Hi Fuzzy,

By pool guy, I'm not sure what you mean...?? Are you a life guard, swimming pool salesman, hustler, as in pool shark, whatever..., I sure hope that you can attend. I promise, you surely won't be disappointed. I recently corresponded with Teresa Schanzenbach, coordinator of the rally and she said that registration for the rally will be available very soon as well as a tentative schedule of events. Please bookmark the rally's website on your computer: www.d3wr.com for updates. Thank you!

    Default Let's Meet For Lunch...!

Jerry (Ezjerry), Paul (Pegasus1300), Gale (Iowavicrider) and Bill (Posserider), thank you for responding to my latest post and for your participation in attending the 4th Annual Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally (2018). I've had the pleasure of previously meeting my good friend Bill and his wife at last year's rally and I look forward to meeting the rest of you as well. Just an idea that popped into my head, but would you all be in favor of a group meeting sometime during the rally? Maybe we could pick at a time that's free, that not too much is going on, sort of a lull time during the rally, where we all could meet for lunch. As time gets closer to the rally's start date, I'll be compiling a list of TT members that announced that they will be attending the rally. Hopefully a get-together can be arranged. More on this later... Your replies would be appreciated...!

Also, "payzac" from Ohio. Great idea Paul. Could even do dinner at, Harry's Spaghetti Western Restaurant. Very nice people at this place, great food & very reasonable. When we get a count & a time I will call them for reservations, if you like. We kinda stumbled on this place & liked it so well, we went back 3 times.

Now you guys will have to watch PosseRider about that Italian food! Be sure to ask him how MANY times he went to Bella Sera to eat while attending the Kerrville TX TrikeTalk gathering!

Don’t be afraid to take his suggestion of this restaurant...I can personally vouch for him that he does have EXCELLENT taste in Italian food!

P.s...don’t get between him and the Black Forest cheesecake....just say’n...
New course heading Mr. Sulu: ...2nd star to the right and straight on til morning...!!

    Scooter and Sassi....2 furrever.

    Hi Bill,

Fellow Ohioian, Randy (payzac), is certainly welcomed as well, even if his ride of choice is other than a Stallion... LOL! Seriously, the more the merrier and if you want to recommend Harry's, that's fine. It's difficult to know just how many members will be joining us, but it's hopeful, that as time gets a bit closer to the rally's starting date, it will become more apparent. Hopefully I'll convince Randy, TT's (Bazooka) Coordinator, to join us. It's my understanding that he's never attended, nor has he ridden in the Black Hills, for that matter and last year, he told me that he would like to attend. Having said that, lets make this reunion happen!!!

I am game for a meet up, especially if food is involved! We will be coming in on Thursday, so later in the day Thursday through Saturday night would be ideal for us. This will be our first trike rally, so look for the guy asking all the questions!

    Hi Gale,

Thanks for your reply to what I hope will be a good opportunity to meet other TT members as well as a chance to introduce other attendees to the rally, our organizations, TT and T.O.I. I will assure you that you will find the rally, a very enjoyable event. Teresa Schanzenbach, Coordinator of the rally, continues to do a super job in organizing the event, an event that continues to get better, year after year. I was just on the rally's Facebook timeline and read the reviews of past rallies. The ranking is 4.8 stars out of 5, based on the comments from participants that have attended. Having attended the past two rallies, I'm not surprised. Looking forward to meeting you and others.

    Default Simply FANTASTIC!!!

As of Friday, (1-26-18), we have 135 people registered for the rally! AWESOME! Remember that if you get your registration in before the end of the month, January, you'll be eligible to win a "little something extra" when you arrive. Sorry, Teresa didn't tell me what that little something is.

I spoke with Teresa yesterday, Wednesday, April 11th, and she informed me that we broke the 400 mark, as the number of individuals that have registered for the 4th Annual Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally, (D3WR). That's simply fantastic, especially this far out to rally time, (89 days). Again, my special thanks to those TT members that have announced that they will be attending: Bill (Posserider), Jerry (Ezjerry), Paul (Pegasus1300), Gale (Iowavicrider) and Randy (Payzac) and to those attendees that haven't, as of yet, announced their intentions. It's never too early to plan, so I would like to open up a discussion as to where and when we could meet for our TT to-together, as earlier announced. Attached is the itinerary for the rally. As you can see, it's pretty well filled up with something going on, all the time. I propose that we meet at 3 Wheeler Central at 10:00 AM on Saturday, during the event, "Ride with a Local". I was told by Teresa that this is not really an event, per se, but an opportunity for attendees to meet, get to know and ride with local trikers. I'm not a local, but I've frequented the Black Hills so often and know the area, that I could surely qualify for one. At that time, we could decide as a group, where we would like to ride to for lunch. We could return and be back at 3 Wheeler Central by 2:00 PM for those of us that signed up for the Poker Run. To those TT members that have yet to announce their intention to attend the rally and would like to meet, I wish that you would reply, as it would be helpful to know the size of our group ahead of time. So to that end, I welcome all to reply or comment...
