Who's all going to the 4th annual deadwood 3 wheeler rally (july 10th - 15th)

OK, on your arrival date and time. Not too much going on that day, as it's the first day. Pretty much a Meet & Greet in the late afternoon, with 3 Wheeler Central opening at noon. You'll probably find me helping out at one of the registration tables much of that day. I believe I still have your cell #. I'll send you a text so that I'm sure that you have mine. Sure miss the ability to PM members on this forum.

If you were referring to our TT/T.O.I./Get-Together/Ride/Luncheon event, I was thinking some place closer. Devil's Tower is about a 75 mile ride from Rally (3 Wheeler) Central, plus it's scheduled as one of our "group rides" on Wednesday morning. I was thinking some place closer, like a maybe a ride through Spearfish Canyon, north to south, with a brief stop at Bridal Veil Falls for a group photo and Roughlock Falls, (time permitting) and finally a stop at Cheyenne Crossing Café for lunch. Just a thought, as we should be able to fit all that in, in about 3 1/2 hours and still make it back to Rally Central in time for the Poker Run, for those of us that have signed up for it at 2 PM. There are a number of places we could ride to and end up back in Deadwood for lunch, for that matter. We can all certainly discuss it, prior to the event. What day do you plan on arriving? I'll be arriving on Monday afternoon, July 9th, staying at the Deadwood Travelodge & Suites, which is bldg. #2, same lodging location that I had last year. New member, "ItsBitsySpyder", Bridget from Florida, plans on joining us. Hope we have a good number at the Get-Together... Should be a lot of fun!

Yes, the Get-Together and Ride sound like fun! Hubby, Joe, will also be joining in. I have him signed up for Trike Talk and TOI (AFNavyMan), but he's not much of a computer person so I'm keeping him up-to-date on important info. I was looking at ordering the TOI membership kit (patches, etc.). Does anybody wear the patches? Anyway, looking forward to meeting everyone and visiting one of the few states I've never seen before!

Glad to get your reply and to read that you're planning on attending the Deadwood Trike Rally. I hope that you can stay through Saturday, July 14th, as I'm planning a TT/T.O.I. Get-Together/Ride/Luncheon event on that day at 10:00 AM. We'll be meeting at 3 Wheeler Central (parking lot to the Days of '76 Museum where its all happening), to leave on a ride, then to have lunch. I'll be difficult to miss, as I ride a RED Stallion, one of the few Stallion trikes at the rally. Being this is your first introduction to the rally, I'll guarantee that you won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to our TT/T.O.I. Get-Together/Ride/Luncheon event as well, not to mention the rally as a whole. This will be my 3rd visit to the rally and promoting it. I'm amazed that it just keeps getting better each year. The fun part is meeting fellow trikers, to share experiences and simply enjoying their company, all in the beautiful setting of the Black Hills. To that end, I'll wish you and yours, safe travel as you cross SD to your ultimate destination.

Thanks for your email and information. You're both now are officially entered. Yes, Spearfish Canyon is a very scenic drive. It's only about 18 miles long, but beauty to behold at every curve. We'll be stopping at Bridal Veil Falls for photos and again at Roughlock Falls, (time permitting). We'll stop for lunch at Cheyenne Crossing Café for lunch, before heading back to 3 Wheeler Central, our starting point. The event is planned for 4 hours, 10AM - 2PM.

Glad to read that you'll be attending the rally. If this is your first visit to the rally and/or the Black Hills, you'll be in for a grand old time.
