I hope you shake that bug soon! A lot of people around here are sick! I have an interview this morning with a magazine "What Now" about riding with the CVMA and also my music! I hope it is not raining so I can ride my bike!

Lordy Bob,
Just got back home from a 5 day hospital stay with RSV virus, Pneumonia in my left lower lung and my COPD kicking up and screamimg at me... On meds and Oxygen right now but seem to be getting better... Breathing is difficult but the Oxygen helps...
Gonna be a while before I'm out riding but not too long I hope... Been in a very rainy wet spell here so no riding lost on that account...
How's the TP working so far?? Any more updates??
Les
I have not been on here for sometime. Man that must have been a hard road to ride! Good you are home! I had an upper
respiratory infection. Out for a week and two week to get back to feeling good! Nothing like what you are going through.
I'm back riding and we were interviewed by "What Now" magazine for the CVMA!

It is the one with our Hairy Brother on the cover! LOL! I have a Gig today, first after being sick!
Trike is awesome. Tow Pac did not give a full refund. Charged me a big restocking charge for their screw up!
Hey good for you Bob - hope that interview helps you out some... Still recovering here but doing so much better... Able to do some things again but still haven't been on the bike as weather has not been cooperating... This Friday is looking good - hoping I can get out for at least a short ride...
Not much else new - I did do a slight readjustment of my down force and backed off 2 turns - want to test ride and see if I improved that fender vibration any...

Glad you are feeling better! I hope you are riding. We've been riding and loving it! Lots of people ask me, where I got it ? And I have a story to tell them!!! April I will be playing a lot of music. I have three Gigs in a row for three days! A lot of setting up and taking down and preforming! If they were 4 hour Gig I would have not booked them. They are all 2 hour gigs so my fingers and my voice box will have no problem, LOL!
I had spent hours on the internet looking at ways to trike our 1700 Vulcan Classic. After reading your post we decided to take a trip to Tow Pac. The Insta Trike is not available for the Classic and did not really want the B" as it is more difficult to remove. Tow Pac said they did not have an E Trike for it, but could make one. Since it now uses the same suspension as the Insta Trike we decided to go that route. Its been cold here in Wisconsin so have only ridden it a few miles, but so far very happy with it. Thanks the great information Bob.
My rear tire is flat! It's a Dunlap on my 2003 Ultra Classic Harley! Air comes out as fast as I can put it in! I notice that the handling got real good and I was thinking now I like this. We road about 10 miles slow on back roads never getting over 55 MPH to the house. I couldn't get over how well it handled! Next time we decided to ride I found it hard to push backwards out my shop! The tire has a large cut in the center of the threads about one inch long, air pours out!
So now I need a new tire and will go on "The Darkside"
What size tire would work on my bike?
I was on the Darkside website and they don't list my bike there.
Sounds like dry rot I would stick with another Dunlop since it gave ya good service since new!

Does anyone know if this tire will work? universal tire 175R16
There are tire comparison calculators on the internet which will show the height, width, sidewall height, and overall diameter. Will also show how it affects your speedometer. example: https://tiresize.com/calculator/
I suggest checking some Harley forums to see what others riders are running. Even if the bike model is different if the wheel size is the same most likely it will work.
universal tire 175R16 may work but not sure.

Does anyone know if the above will work?
Has anyone put a car tire on the rear of a Harley ultra classic that uses a stock Dunlop D404 130/90-16 Rear tire?
