LED Tail/ Brake lights for GL1800

Wanting to change out the brake tail turn lights to LED on my 02 Trike. Socal makes a complete kit roughly $200. I've read that some of the brake led lights are not much brighter than the tail. Any info or thoughts?

I have replaced 8 bulbs in the back of my 2017 Motortrike (6 Pathfinder High Performance Bulb 7443 Red/2 Same in 7443 Amber) $20.00 each from WingStuff. Also replaced the run/turn lights in the front of the mirrors with "Pathfinder Dynamic-Sequential LED Front Indicators with DTR Lights". I have the Honda Spoiler with the electrical connection 4 way LED conversion. Muth mirrriors with sequencial chevrons. Dealer installed LED Fog lights. The thing about replacing incandescent lights with LED is you have to replace the Flasher with an LED Flasher. It was in the kit with the Pathfinder Lights (in the mirror housings. Only thing left to be replaced is the H7 headlight bulbs which I will have the dealer do for me. I want to be seen and all the LED bulbs last much longer and are brighter.

I think you might be referring to when LEDs first came out. Especially during daytime, they where not that bright. However, the ones I've see today are brighter.

Also, most parts stores now sell LED lights.
