New rider from Michigan!
Hello fellow trike riders! I've recently purchased a 2017 Freewheeler this August and I love it. I've been riding since I was 15 years old (turning 68 this Friday) and decided to make this change due to health reasons. I still have my 2007 Softail Deluxe FLSTN (Pearl white/cobalt pearl). Been an avid rider my whole life (retired now) and just could fathom not riding anymore.
So, through some advice by my brother-in-law who also rides a trike, and my beautiful wife and wonderful family, I bought one. Have to admit, I hated it for the first couple of weeks, but then I did a ride to our Michigan HOG Rally in Upper Michigan and another ride with my son/wife and daughter/husband last month down thru Arkansas and Missouri and rode the "Pigtrail". Took some getting used to, but after putting a couple of thousand miles on it, I truly enjoy riding this Freewheeler!!!!
I've been reading some of the forum's lately, so I thought I would join. Once I download some pics of the new trike, I will post them also.

Well, here's my new baby! I couldn't wait to swap/add some stuff to it already. A Freedom Windshield (medium tint) re-curve; changed stock seat to a Mustang 1-piece seat with driver backrest; passenger sissy-bar with backrest; chrome bumper; and Transparent paint guard film for fenders/side panels (protects against stone chips all over the bike). AND, I couldn't wait to remove all five reflectors!!!! More stuff to come....
