I am a lifelong rider but due to a recent amputation I am looking at moving to a trike or freewheeler.
I am also looking for information on an electronic or airshifter as I've lost my left foot.
Any info would be helpful

Gotta keep those "knees in the breeze". Try a Spyder. The ones with the SE transmission shift with your thumb and the braking is all on the right foot. I don't have your problem, but I love my Spyder just the same. Great ride.
Happy TRAils/NSD

David, I'm a right A/K amputee. There is a group on Facebook called "Amputee Motorcycle Riders". Great people and a tremendous amount of information for any kind of amputee. I'm sure there will be be plenty of response to any question you may have. NEVER GIVE UP !
Thanks everyone for the welcoming messages. Had to go to the local H-D dealer recently and was able to get up close with several trikes and one free wheeler.
Found I could get on a freewheeler with a little effort but not so with the full dressers due to the tour pack being in the way.
Does anyone know if or how much the additional cost of getting a fairing with the electronics goodies are on a freewheeler. Since my wife can no longer ride due to a very bad back we will trailer to destinations and ride around there so I don't need a tour pack but want the radios and such.
Thanks for any input.
