Adoption

On the local news there were 2 abandoned pups at a Newark NJ foreclosed home in a cage. Although there 7 years young , with health issues , the house keeper called the number. They are closed for the day.

She will call first thing on Tuesday. Since the 3 musketeers left us , it hasent been the same. I finally gave in as I’m a home boy , and even though it’s been 6 months with out a pup, I still let them out every morning and night :Shrug: Wish us luck, to get Fred and Wilma.

Fred and Wilma , I screwed up on the original post. I fix !

Took a road trip to Newark Nj, to visit Fred and Wilma for possible adoption.

Fred is blind as a bat , but a very very happy guy. Wilma is also happy and lovable, but has really bad hip arthritis. I was told that they were 7 years young. No way Jose! As having 3 shittsus for over 20 yrs I know the breed. They had to be at least 12-13 years.

The good news was that there are a few applications for them. I’m just not ready for 2 pups that will need too much medical attention, and have them for only a few years.

I do feel emotionally bad for them, but it is what it is.

We also checked out other pups , but unfortunately we want females, as the rest were males. I guess that trip wasn’t meant to be.

Not giving up , just need to do more due diligence on other shelters. The lord works in strange ways .!
