Have learned that C.S.C. has come out with braces for their kits with floor boards so you can step on them now.
Thought you people with C.S.C. kits might want to know.

Bazooka I really do not know,it was told to me by my trike installer who instaled my lehman kit on my 96 1500 in 06 and he did not say weather it was just on new kits or older ones too.
Guess I should have asked.
Here is where you can contac C.S.C. and find out.

I had a 07 CSC..stepping on the running boards was never an issue with me. Why would one want to step on a painted surface? I wouldn't step on my fenders either...just don't get it.

The kits that sell weight bearing boards protect the "step" surface with scuff proof sheeting applied.
I assume you will be able to add this to the CSC's if the brackets will retrofit.
For those that are interested maybe someone could suggest a retro kit to CSC which would include the scuff protection sheets.
My Hannigan is that way and the best thing I ever did for my comfort and freedom of moving my feet around was take the rider pegs off and start using the floor boards.
