I agree but that was years ago and now their no longer being made and doesn't look like they will be coming back either...So why not release it !

I don't know who you may have talked to in regards to a service manual and their response as to "job security" being the reason, but I have to disagree with whoever it was. One of the primary reasons (as I understand it) that a service manual was not released was because the great majority of the service related items are in the Ford Ranger service manuals, wiring diagrams manual, & emissions/troubleshooting manuals. These are also the books we use in our facility for troubleshooting & determining the issue with the majority of "unusual" or non typical repairs that we see in our facility also.

From my own personal viewpoint & stance - I agree fully that a Stallion service manual would be a nice resource to have and make available for owners to purchase. It would save a great deal of time for everyone (self servicing customers, repair shops, and myself). Unfortunately the likely reality is it will never be with the Stallion being out of production for as long as it has & the amount of man hours and engineering time it would take to create one, print, and make available for distribution.

That wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least if someone were to do that. It would be nice to see a QUALITY "free source" for the Ford service manuals also. I purchased a "digital" copy off of ebay years ago that was supposed to be a "direct copy" of the factory Ford digital manual with wiring diagrams, etc (the wiring diagrams portion was my main interest given 90% of the phone calls & emails we get are wiring related). Unfortunately the electronic version of the wiring diagrams was an absolute joke and almost impossible to read & navigate.

I agree with that as you were kind enough to send me a couple of areas I was trying to check and my friend who's a Ford mechanic couldn't follow the diagram either. But you did try to help and it was appreciated.

    Default Stallion Manual

Since in my opinion, TMS has not been very forthcoming with help and advice on the Stallion, they could satisfy all of us by publishing a service manual. What a great way to make more money on a product they no longer produce. People could actually figure out how to do simple repairs on their own. I know I am preaching to the choir, but after three un-returned calls about a radiator repair/removal from TMS, they are reluctant to offer much help. Just my opinion.

A couple of years ago, maybe longer, there was a former employee that worked at the factory during the time the Stallion was in production. He came on this forum and indicated that he was going to do just that, write a repair manual. A lot of us were optimistic, but it never materialized. Never heard from him again. You can probably find the thread by looking back. If someone has the where with all to do such a project, I'm in.

    Exclamation Service parts manuals

It's been 8 years now, with no parts break down on my 2010 Stallion....

I didn't buy a 07 Ford Ranger, but if I did , I'd have a service manual for it by now....

a Ranger repair book don't show the radiator hoses, stainless steel tubing, a forked front end bearings and bushings etc. with rear latter supports on Rear, airshock info too....

i like to see a body parts breakdown with panels, windshields and so on....

    Whats the holdup?

    Good morning

my 2 cents worth. How did a brand new company (TBMS) build a brand new bike (Stallion) and get their bastard child passed by SAE(society of automotive engineers) without having engineering drawings, schematics, and part numbers. ranger manual shows radiator in front, all heater controls in dash, radio in dash all electrical components in certain places. sure doesn't show where they are located on stallion. I think the only way we are going to get any kind of manual is by making it ourselves. we need to start taking pictures of our repairs, and posting how we repaired it.

I read about people having problems and asking for help but hardly hear how the problem was solved. when we take pictures and document the repair someone here I am sure will take on the job of organizing some sort of manual. sometime.

    Default 2010 Stallion

I can't say that I haven't found solutions to some of my problems on this Stallion Forum, because I have and I really enjoy this site since I've own my Trike for 8 years now....

youre right, TBMS has a blue print of the stallion... that's what I want....

07 Ranger scamatics is great for wires, fuses and and Ford PARTS....But I want frame, stainless tubing, radiators connections, and general front end parts with troubleshooting guides..

i see parts like brake pads, that you can buy at parts store, but what is the updated part?

    i see "use these"....then it's "use those"....give me part numbers....(just an example)

07 Rangers didn't have air bags, latter supports.....

    That's my gripe...lol

You know i really hate to say this ,But its all about the money. The time may have to come soon that owner's will have to start bad mouthing the company and what they are building now ,giving bad reviews for parts and service, just like the NFL losing 30% of their viewer's now. As the old saying goes NO BUCKS ,NO BUCK ROGER'S, Harley has just stated closing plants here in the states.Motorsports needs to be looking at their buyer base also..... Now don't get me wrong i like my Stallion, but i very different than most as mine is used for shows and events for Veterans and Shriner's Hospital for Children and parades for them only. That why mine only has 7,400 miles on it less than a 1000 miles a year VIN # 101.....

Well guys I hear you but unless your just venting what you want is not going to happen. Thoroughbred motorsports is not going to build anymore stallions and their policy has always been not to supply a manual. They have the same policy for their other companies. That means that us owners of the several hundred stallions that are on the road have to solve and share. This forum has become the foremost area to do that.

    Thumbs up 2010 Stallion

Don't get me wrong, I still love My Stallion....I drive it every week, car shows....love showing it off...48000 miles...still have the original tires..

but I know what I need to keep it going....a service manual on the NON-FORD parts...front end breakdown ( bearings, bushings)...lay out on the Stallion itself...hoses, s/s tubing....

"Job Security" was a quote....and now I believe it.... not bashing a great company, but their policy...

    o well....

    Default Front Brake disc

I started this thread about 10 years ago....a service manual is needed....

sorry to hear that I have to buy a FORD MANUAL for wiring and electrical parts....but I haven't seen a FORD with a front forks and a single wheel on front ,,yet...

i want to see how wires, hoses, and sensors are placed on the stallion, I want to see schematics and diagrams of the "Stallion"

Question is.....what's the a number for front brake Disc on a 2010 Stallion ?

a Stallion is not a FORD completely...

Dave the front brake rotor is a TBMS part. You can only get it thru them. You will need to find a Motor Trike dealer that is willing to order you the part from TBMS side of the business and have it dropped shipped to you. I ordered 2 last year thru R & R Trikes in Jasper Ga. I believe they were around $100 ea if I remember correctly.

We all wish the manual you want was available but it ain't going to happen. TBMS is even running out of parts that they had made just for the Stallion. Like windshields.

    Good Luck
