Hi from the land of sunshine.
I live in Fort Pierce, Florida so riding is a year-round thing which is nice.
With roughly 250K miles under my belt my motorcycle history stretches back to the early 70's and includes an assortment of bikes, mostly Gold Wings, and a fair number of miles had a third wheel, starting with sidecars in the 70's.
Current primary ride is a custom 84 Gold Wing front half attached to a 95 Subaru SVX rear half with approx 240 HP connecting to the right hand grip. (I'll see if I can post a photo in a bit.) I traded off my 2000 Valkyrie with Voyager "training wheels" for it and I think I got the better end of the deal.
I also have a 2014 Cam Am Spyder RTS that my wife swears is hers so I let her ride if from time to time. LOL.
A 2000 Gold Wing with a Champion sidecar is in the mix although it is down for repairs at the time.
Rounding out the stable is a 1986 Gold Wing Aspencade SEI that is also currently down for repairs.
We try ride as often as possible. I ride daily for transportation and nearly daily for 'wind therapy'. I hope to retire in a couple of years and spend several months touring the US and taking time to smell the flowers without being in a rush.
I work as a welder/fabricator and am toying with the idea of building a V-8 powered trike in the next year or so if my workload and finances will permit.
I look forward to seeing how things go here.
Max
