Need help in las vegas

triwinggirl

Please PM one of the mods your address and then they can send me a PM so that I can send you the package. I go into town at least once a week for shopping and to do other stuff. I'd like you to have these tools as they'd be a great help to you and I'm retired and have no use for them.

Trike Lady, you are such a kind, thoughtful lady.

update

I have bolted on the seat, I installed the right side chrome engine cover, I broke a tab on the left side going to JB weld it soon. im currently curling her eyelashes.:clapping:

I still need to rebleed the brakes.

since I charged the battery overnight it seems fine now, no trouble yet. I will still check it when trike lady's tools arrive.:)

JOY rides well, as I said before the steering is power on steroids, just the slightest movement and she moves fast. I could easily find myself in another lane if not careful. the smaller flat surface car tire has a lot of traction. the suspension works great very smooth. I find I must lean more often to compensate for tipping. more needed exercise for me. but I like that so i'll get used to this fast.:xzqxz::clapping:

I will post a final pic soon.:clapping:

Add a little JB to those lashes, it will eliminate any maintenance !

Leaning to compensate is a natural thing, as you won’t tip over. Ride Ride Ride :scooter:

About the leaning.... have you tried pushing down on the floorboard with the foot opposite to the curve? Example: if you are curving to the left, push down on the right floorboard or peg if no floorboard. Then of course, vice versa the other way. It offsets that feeling of having to lean the bike or some people think its a feeling of the bike trying to throw them off. The guys out here posted that little trick and it works great. Your mechanical skills and determination are very admirable.

yes I do this under normal slower condition, however I don't always go slow, in fact I usually go a bit faster than most. I hate cars, my main goal is to get away from them. they crowd me, pace me, follow me, sit on my ass, get in my way generally. forcing me to make moves that require more aggressive moves, to stay alive, so it's not so much leaning as doing the hang off the side monkey thing, to keep from tipping. I also really like taking some corners fast.

the new front suspension and smaller front car tire grip way better now that the factory set up. this also causes a need to do the monkey thing at slower speeds as well as the trike now makes very fast movements at the slightest move of the steering. tipping is now a very real thing, a sudden turn could actually tip JOY over.

I recently replaced the rear tires, before this modification, the old tires were more of a performance tire and broke loose easy, the new rear tires had way more grip with the old front end. now with the new front end getting so much grip, the rear tires are sliding again.

FYI I have been riding and racing bikes since I was in high school, im a very skilled rider. this is in no way my first rodeo.:xzqxz:;):)

With all the injuries you have sustained and the arduous re-build of the trike I’m glad things are getting back together for you finally. Have a good riding season!
