I placed my order and made the deposit on November 1, 2021. When I did, was told it would be done by the end of March 2022.

Actually called CSC and they told me the anticipated paint date. Don't think that happened because the installer told me when the got the paint in on 3/18. So, it looks like it has to be painted, put back together, crated and then shipped.

Only advantage is - still pretty cold here in Michigan - so I don't have the urge to take a ride right now.

What bike are you triking? And, did you add a lot of items?
My order date was in November also. My dealer gave me a 13 May ship date. About 5 days for kit to get here and 5 to 7 days to build depending on how busy they are when kit arrives. I have a black 2021 GL1800 tour DCT. I already have extra lights on bike and got most of the CSC extras but no chrome. I agree I would not ride now but will be very anxious before May gets here.

Well, I will keep you informed - who knows, with all that is going on, I could still be delayed.

My builder says it will be 4 days from the time he starts until he finished. Can usually do three days in most cases. This is why he is getting he bike on Thursday to start taking it apart. I have to believe that he has more info on shipping since he is ready to take it apart.

You are a little closer to Arlington, so, can probably get it to you a little faster.

My Harley does not have a reverse, so, I added that. Got the rake kit, running boards, light in trunk, passenger comfort bars and the rear light bar.

I also purchased the finder light from my dealer - that will get installed once the trike is done. Then, it will be time to get a little pinstriping done.

I mentioned before, we had a GW with a Motortrike kit back in the late /early 2000. Sold that in 2004 - was my wife's trike. So, we are all ready to get moving again

Well, it looks likes she is all done. Say they will bring it to me on Thursday. Slather - any info on yours?

My bad - was so excited that I didn't read your post.

Let's just say, we love it. My wife is also a driver and she enjoys the trike. I may have mentioned that years ago, we had a Gold Wing trike with a MotorTrike conversion - liked that too. Kits have really improved since then.

Specifically for the CSC Daytona, we like the idea that the trunk seems to have a second shelf. Several of our smaller light things, including the bike cover can fit in there and are snapped in.

CSC did a great job in matching our Gauntlet Grey Paint. I am certain that since my bike was just like new, the new CSC paint job was a bit easier.

Our bike was a 2021 - so, it had the 114 engine. That helps with the additional weight of the kit. We had the bike on the highway yesterday (5/30/22) and rolled along at 70 mph. While comfortable riding it, we don't want to push too hard until we get the full hand of the trike. Bike performed well and tracked as smooth as I might have imagined.

By the way, I have a backrest - and, might suggest that a backrest does help when pushing or pulling to negotiate a curve.

Still learning to get off and get on. Perhaps you guys have some ideas. We have the running boards and while that can hold some weight, I am 295 and don't want to step in them. So, for now, I step on the rear passenger peg, lift my leg over and put the other fool on the opposite rear passenger peg. Then in one swift move, my left foot goes to the drivers front floorboard. I can then put my right foot on the right floorboard.

Getting off, I stand on the floorboards - put my left foot on the rear passenger floorboards, swing my leg over and then dismount. So far, this seems to work OK - but if you guys have a better way, please let me know.

Thats great you got everything straighten out , and you and the wife are happy that's all that maters, that's cool that she rides, What do they say the weight limit is on the running boards? try stepping on them lightly see if they make any noise? I like C S C good ride, handle well, I like the look of them, all led lights, trunk light, remote locks, the reverse is great.

I have never rode a Roadsmith or a Hannigan I like the looks of the CSC better. I got caught in heavy rain last week and had like no rear brakes, dry weather there great, talked to Will the other day said he never heard of it, Something to think about if you get caught in rain, I had a GW CSC no brake problems ? Maybe I will try some of them wheel inserts.

Yes, I saw that too - however when talking to my installer, he mentioned that they were not designed to be stepped on to mount the bike. I've had my foot on them and they feel pretty sturdy - just concerned.

I plan to visit CSC in July when my buddy gets his trike - I will ask that question and also perhaps they will let me step on a demo display so that I am more comfortable.

Hadn't heard about the brakes in the rain - but thanks for the heads up. Like most, I try to stay out of the rain - but it will happen.

You mentioned remote locks? Did you actually get a remote or, are you talking about pushing the trunk button? Speaking of trunks, I need to ask if there is a backup manual release just in case it is needed.

Thanks for the info - I will look at my left hand side, under the side cover.

Buddy has a 2018 Roadmaster - talked to him yesterday, his bike is going to Arlington the end of June. Suppose to be ready on July 11th
