PLOUER, FRANCE
Hi bikers and trikers.

My name is Michel, I live in the west of France, near the sea close to the town Saint-Malo.

I ride with bikes since many years. My first "big" bike was a Goldwing 1500, after I had a trike Can-Am Spyder RT (mor safe for "Mary" my wife...) and then I ride with a trike Goldwing 1800 EML-Martinique. I buy it a very low price because it fired, I repaired it myself with parts coming from US (large choice and good deals). Now I am happy like a king, the works are done and the trike has the comportment I hope. I wait for better days to make good trips.

I like to read all discussions in this forum, sometimes I keep the best ideas for my trike.

Now it's time to close this post and I try to join a picture.

Excuse me, my english language is not very good, please make an effort...

I wish for all people peace, good health and an happy new year.

Welcome Michel! You did a great job on repairing your new to you trike, it looks fantastic. Your English is fine so please keep on sharing your thoughts. It is a shame when members join and do not make more than just a first post, so please let us here more from our new friend from France.

Welcome aboard. I don't usually do welcomes but in this case I need a French to English help. In the bold type about bike fired, what is being said? Was the bike in a fire. If so then you did a great job of cleaning up. I used to volunteer as a firefighter and know the damage heat and smoke does. If that's not what is meant then a little help please.

Welcome to Trike Talk from eastern Kentucky!

Your English is very understandable, and your trike looks great!

Many thanks from France

My trike fired under the seat, all relays, harness, fuel thank completely burned. I find all the parts in US shops with e-bay. I move a lot of pins on the connectors (because differences on the wirings (French / US). A long and fastidious job but I like that, and I have enough time, I am retired since two years. I was a mechanic in a aircraft repair station for twenty years and after quality manager in the same company.

Your trike looks really nice, good job. Welcome from San Antonio, Texas, the adopted home of Tony Parker. I have read he is like a rock star in France. He is such a wonderful addition to the San Antonio Spurs. Post often, ride safe and have fun.
