Hello John, U did not say if U were interested in the 1500 or 1800. I have a 2000se 1500 with a 2002 CSC sport trike kit on it. We have had no problems so far and are very happy with the trike. All the trike kits are good U just have to find the one that U like the best. Good Luck.

I agree with that. I am now riding my friends ( he past away in JAN) Champion 2002 1800 Goldwing trike . Great ride. I own a 1500 DFT Great ride also. Not like your gona buy a trike kit and HATE it. Quality is great on all of them.
John, I purchased a new 1800 CSC trike in early June. Since then, I have put over 5500 miles - about 1/2 pulling a 2007 Bunkhouse camper - packed with everything but the ole kitchen sink. So far, love it. No problems - great power, smooth ride according to the better half. I had a 1500 Aspencade, 2 wheels prior to this trike. I think the trike rides as well as the 1500. Handles well in the curves of Tenn and So. Carolina. Kept up with the 2 wheelers - no problems. I would purchase again, no doubts what so ever.

We currently ride a 1993 GL1500 with a CSC trike kit and like it a lot. We are currently waiting for our new 2008 GL1800 with a CSC trike. Supposed to be done by 20th of this month. Hope we like it as much if not more than our current trike.
John,
Since I replied to your post, I have replied to another --
Here's what I replied on the other post:
My reasoning for going with CSC is as follows;
I wanted the independent suspension, I like the look of the CSC and they are close to home. As far as add on's go, I love the extra dial-in suspension (making it stiffer is great for those twisties!! and softer is great on those long rides to nowhere). I also got the axillary gas tank (I now have 10.3 TOTAL gallons of gas I can carry) and yes, I got a bunch of other "must-haves" LOL
If you live near the VA/DC/MD area, CSC is only 2.5 hours south of DC (OK, 2.5 hours if you take mostly highways, 4.5 if you take the mountain, scenic route and stop often to enjoy the view )
CSC will give you a tour of the facility so you can see how everything is made. Pretty cool actually.
Another cool thing about CSC is their customer service. Tops in my book! I've even directly called one of their engineers and he was more then happy to chat about questions I had.
CSC also trains their "outside dealers" (I had mine triked at OpenRoad Outfitters in Sterling VA). Only people trained directly at the CSC factory can sell and install CSC trike kits. CSC will not allow outside dealers who are not trained by them to sell/carry/install their product. *IMHO* I like the fact some ya-hoo can't just buy it and install it for you.
Oh, do NOT forget to get the EZ-Steer!! GET THIS OPTION!! It has been a G-d send for me!! Even with the EZ-Steer, your arms will get a workout, but at least when you get home you won't be hurting for hours on end as you would without it. (and to think I almost didn't opt for it because of the price. I don't regret spending the money on it at all!) I also had a rake adjustment as CSC recommends it and that's easily accomplished when the EZ-Steer is put on.
If you're not on a Goldwing, do NOT forget about adding reverse!! I can't comment on which brand to get as the GL1800 comes will reverse. But DO get it!!! Just image the extra weight the trike kit is going to add... Think hills, parking lots, etc. - 'nough said
As far as looks, I love the look of the CSC. Again it's just my humble opinion but I don't think it looks as 'boxy' as some of the other trike kits (not offending anyone there, I just like the rounded back and wider wheel base). FYI, as I just mentioned, the wheel base IS wider then the rest of the trike kits out there!! Something to certainly keep in mind when approaching that gas pump island! LOL
Between the independent suspension and the wider wheel base, it does feel more stable when cornering then some of the other trike kits I tried.
But yes, I LOVE my CSC!!!!
- ENJOY!!!!

Blondie, I have to say thank you
I was triaied at the CSC factory, top of the line, Thats why we went with CSC. The best engineering around
If your going to buy one I strongly suggest the extra fuel tank at the time you order it. or check out one of these....Tour Tank Order Page
You'll need it.
I bought my 05 GL1800 used in the fall of last year (with only 400mils ) I have sence rack up 15,000 more. I injoy it alot. The rear end still allows me to hang it into the curves. I always said "If I buy a Wing, it must be a trike." I was impressed with the design of the mecanics of the CSC rear end the first time I saw it at the International Motorcycle Expo years ago. My trike already had the E-Z steer, and the upgreaded brakes and rotors.
Only gripes; Not happy with the companys choice of wheels (Toyota camry) and am looking to replace them. The paint finish and quality could be improved. I think the extra fuel tank should come standard for loss of fuel milage.
you must be fast....I was haulin ass when I passed you!
