What are the best hand guards that fit the 2016 FLRT ??

Check out PowerMadd. I bought the 34262 mounts and then you can add any of the Star Series hand guards and accessories. I got the hand guard extension. Good design and removing the hand guard just leaves a black small mount that is hard to see. I was using old clear hand guards from Memphis Shades, but this system is a lot better. All the PowerMadd parts are on Amazon or your local dealer can get them from various vendors.

Even though it says 'Not Compatible' on the site I believe the Hydraulic set will work.

Tried to order Chillhowee Leathers metal Hand Shields at 1/2 the price but they are in process of moving from Oregon to Colorado and won't be up and running till May
