I have 22 by 14 barn, And thats the way i envisioned how neatly all my stuff would lay out...In one week i had to add a loft inside the barn so i can stuff' stuff on top of stuff...That i had stuffed all together on the floor ....

Your right Frank... The unanswered question is when the HOA Makes/pasts a rule there is a reason...When we [My Club] Makes a rule, And in our case our rules are not rules per -say but suggestions and its enforced by peer pressure and at times strong will officers of the club i'm the President and we meet 4 times a year at the club, We have 30 members all are owners....But i digress....

What is the reason for covers in particular , When the HOA Made the rule there had to a discussion among the board members .....And it may turn out to be a valid reason that escapes us after 50 posts..

If being a seasonal complex, and as Bob mentioned about using ugly tarps rather than form fitting covers of neutral colors, then why not. I will repeat myself; try to attend a board meeting and bring your ammo. The more protesters the better.

Need some advice and informative ammunition. I live in a condo with no garages, therefore the 2016 Harley Tri Glide must stay outside in the parking lot exposed to the elements. We keep it covered every night with either a half-cover when the weather is nice, or a full-cover during bad weather or when we're gone for several days. Last week, my Home Owner's Association board passed a new rule to disallow covers on all vehicles, for a variety of reasons, primarily for snowbird owned cars with covers that are parked and covered for months at a time. However, the rule that was passed was a very broad ALL vehicles. So now, my property manager has suggested I submit a letter next week stating all the legitimate reasons why motorcycles should be covered. Living in swampy Florida with a lot of wildlife and occasional storms, along with water sprinklers and theft prevention issues, some of the reasons we will list are fairly obvious. What I'm hoping to get from someone here are explanations or documentation of long-term damage caused by leaving a motorcycle uncovered for extended periods of time. Any help anyone can add to my list would be greatly appreciated.

Petty rules like this is one reason why I sold my place in The Villages. We had a neighbor that placed a small, 9 inch angel in their yard. Some nosy neighbor complained and the owner had to remove the angel. Most rules in Communities such as TV have are good, but some are ridiculous and too many people just look for things to bitch about. The response most often heard in The Villages was, " well, if you don't like it, just move".

Shoot, no response as to what happened. I would have written a letter asking for an exception. Then done to a meeting and tried to have the rule re written. Something along the lines of, no vehicles are allowed to be longer then "blank" amount of time. Let us know how it turned out
