What synthetic oil other than Harley syn 3 2017 triglide
There are quite a few synthetic oils out there for motorcycles. Amsoil is probably one of the most mentioned ones but you can also find Royal Purple, Red Line, Lucas and Mobil V-Twin on a lot of peoples list as the one they use. Even H-D dealers usually have two or three different synthetics on their shelf besides their own HD Syn3. I probably even missed a few other synthetics that are available for motorcycles.

Like arguing Ford vs Chevy but I use Lucas Oil High Performance Synthetic 20W-50.

Oh NO ... another Oil Thread.
Having said that, why wouldn't you use what the maker of the bike recommends? All synthetics are pricey, so there isn't much difference which you buy.
Please don't flame this poster ... Just my humble opinion.

They're all good. Buy whatever is the most convenient and cheapest. End of discussion.
Any major brand is better then H-D oil (their oil is supplied by the lowest bidder). You know something is being left out. Do you really want that?
None will destroy your engine as long as you use the correct viscosity and change the oil and filter at the recommended time.
I prefer Amsoil or Mobil1, but will use any syn that is on sale.

I used Amsoil 20-50 in a my motorcycles and never have had a problem as long as you change it when recommended. My Harley dealer in Wisconsin told me if I continue to us Amsoil I will have engine problems and he talked me into changing to syn 3 Harley oil. Two old changes with syn 3 and my 103 twin cam engine blew up. Now I use Amsoil in my new engine

Isn't it weird that in AMERICA, our flag and our culture offend so many people...but our benefits don't???
My Sons fathers girlfriend works the graveyard shift for a secret motor oil storage facility out side Of Tulsa Oklahoma , And she tells me that every midnight tanker trucks with out any oil companies names written on the side of the trucks, Will fill up from one common storage tank..Then when they get to their warehouse re package the oil in qt and gal bottles with different oil brand names on them.....Some even use food coloring dye to make people think there oil is better than the non-colored oils...

I used Amsoil in my 03 for over 105,000 miles . Sold it 6 yrs ago & it is still going strong. My Trike is using Mobil 1 V-twin. Red line in primary & tranny. Never been a fan of HD oil in all 3 holes, for over 30 yrs. As far as Found OnRoad Dead I prefer God Made Chevy.
