The Trike Talk 2018 rally information is now available

Please download and print out the information pages attached to this post for all the information on the rally to be held in Acra, NY on Rt 23, the weekend before Labor Day, August 23rd through August 26th. Call and make all arrangements for your rooms with the resort and mention you are with the trike group when you call.

The price is all inclusive and includes a full breakfast buffet each morning and a multi-course meal for dinner, along with after dinner drinks.

We have until May 1st where the resort will hold all the rooms for us, typically that weekend is a slow one but there is no guarantee that someone will reserve a room that is not part of the group. The goal is to fill the hotel and if there are more, additional hotels and motels are in the area.

Please refrain from replying to this post and use the other thread that was started. That one has many posts already and I would like to keep this one clear as possible. I will use this thread for any changes or info that everyone may need.

Here are all the links in one place.

The first one is the sign up sheet,

depending on your computer, you may have to save the pdf files before you can view them....

The second is a excel sheet showing who is going,

The third is the info page on the rally, date, location, pricing, contact info and web site and e-mail of resort

Don't forget we have to book our rooms before May 1st and pay a $50.00 deposit but deposit is returned if the room is cancelled within 2 weeks of the rally. After May 1st the owner will book rooms to other individuals or families. If we book the entire resort, we will be able to have more choices and control over our stay there. A reminder that the owner is away until the end of March but you can leave a message on the resorts answering machine and/or send an e-mail and your room will be saved for you.

If anyone has a problem with the PDF versions I can send a doc. file (word) You may have to save the PDF file before you can view it. On my lap top I have to do that.

Thanks, if you are staying at the host hotel, let me know and I'll change the excel sheet info. If anyone else is planning on staying at the Acra Resort mark that question yes on the form, even if you haven't registered yet with the resort.

Wife will not be going, (she does not like those long rides on back of a motorcycle) so I'm looking for anyone near the Springfield, Massachusetts area, that is going, and would like some company riding together up to the rally, or even better yet, if they would like to share a room (straight company here) (makes the long trip better/safer with two people riding together/plus much cheaper on the wallet money wise) if so please let me know OK?

Please don't wait much longer. We can't do a rally with 6 people. Our host motel did us a favour by locking in the whole place to just TT rally members. . Don't forget full refund if you cancel in time. . Better safe than sorry. $50 saves you a room. Right now you get to pick a room . In the beginning I saw atleast 6 people said ( count me in. Or I'll be there. ) we need your support. Seems like everyone waits to see who is coming . Those have attend the last 6 rallies know we have fun. . Meet the people you talk to. Eat drink and be marry. .

Just a reminder to sign up with the host hotel and the sign up list here. We have to get the resort booked by the end of April or forfeit some of the rooms if someone from outside the group calls after May 1st. If you have booked with the resort, please fill out the rally sign up so we know who is going. John would like to do t-shirts but we need a head count also. If we do prizes like last year, we also need the head count for that.

Booking now doesn't mean that your committed fully, you have 2 weeks to cancel if something comes up.

People said they are having a hard time finding it.

The open registration ends Tomorrow ..MAY1. That does not mean you can no longer go.

You can still register and get a room. It will just be that you are no longer the only one trying for a room. There are 22 rooms still available .. After May 1st that number may get reduced quickly. The longer you wait the slimmer your chance is to get the room you want.

PS : I contacted the resort. They agreed with the weather the way it has been that we should open it up to Trike Talk only for 3 more weeks. So if you have been procrastinating get on the phone. The Rally is in on and the list of attendees is growing.

Still. Undecided never to late. It will just be harder to get a room the longer you wait. I begged them to hold the open reg for a few more weeks.. This is a super great place. Best rally ever. We want to see you all again . Dust off that trike and get in the spirit. I know been a long winter.

I thought it was the lack of warm weather that was killing the spirit. Thought a few were on the fence and like the last few years sigh up would explode in the final weeks. Well looks like the last rally for TT NE. We are not getting any TT support. We are not getting any interest form the forum members. Only 6 or 7 have shown interest . Anyone want to take the ball for next year and do a fairly local NE rally. Let me know ill sign up now. Very disappointing. A lot of time and prep went into this one. I really thought this would be the best one yet. Gona miss a lot of you.

Sorry guys, we will not be attending this years rally in the Catskills, we are heading out on August 25th to Milwaukee for the 115th, wont be back until September 5th or so. Maybe next year, you will all be missed.

Yey your usually the life of the party. I don't think there will be another TTNE rally. This one was met with no enthusiasm. Too much work. With no support . Seeme the Trike Talk site is a thing of the past. All new people come on say HI. And never come back or come and ask a question get the answer and never come back with even thank u it worked.
