Any part you want to partake in is great. You can meet and greet , or go on a ride. They even allow people not staying there to eat at the dinning room for a modest fee. How far are you from the Inn ,? Hope to hear back from you. It a very friendly group. We have been getting together for these rallies for 9 years. .

Looks like you are just west of Oneanta and that is about an hour from Windham and not far from where we are staying. Yes like John said, the resort is flexible so if you want to stay over Friday and Saturday night, it should be OK. I would get the reservation in though as soon as possible. We officially had until the end of May to book the rooms and after that the owner was going to open up reservations for anyone. He was going to try and push it on Long Island where he advertises on the local cable channels so it could be bikes as well as trikes which is OK.

If you are not staying over, your welcome to do the breakfast meal or supper meal with us at the resort, just call and let them know.

Bob you still think your going to make it to the rally? Let us know for sure before we get there. Are you planning on staying overnight ? Reason I ask is I don't want to have you miss us. We don't want to take off before you arrive on Sat. A few are arriving on Thursday. And a few like yourself on Friday night . We stay until around noon on Sunday.

Hope we hear more from you and on your plans. Hope we see you there.

Looks like we have a nice group. Nice to have 50 or 60 people but it is a handful. Small groups are easier to manage. I still think this will be the best rally yet. Too bad it may be the last .

Count down only a month now

Time is closing in on the date. I am getting the raffle prizes in order. And the trophy or trophies. Pictures will follow after the rally ... See you all there looks like a really nice group. Glad to see a few still want to have this rally. New faces and a few old friends. I planned on shirts but we needed 7 more people . I wish I could have had use of the PM. Function. I could contact new local members. That really taxed this rally and others I would think. Previous rally info was sent by PM to every new member that signed up and was within 150 miles of the location. A Sticky may have helped also. . Many requested this rally in the past. Most rallies at least for me, are 1,000 miles away from New England. We tried but looks like the North East core of people have lost interest some I guess thought it too pricy. $$$$$$ if they did they could have found a motel cheaper and just joined up for rides. This is not a closed rally. Locals are even encouraged to join for a day or a ride. There are other motels in the area. Last years motel is one and cheaper and only 1/4 mile down the road . You could choose to join us for beakfast or dinner. Or find a local restaurant like we did last year. These are options.

I havn't heard a thing about it in a long while, and trying to keep those dates open... I have, as you know, already sent in my deposit, long ago..

My concern now, is if this (rally) does not happen, will we be getting our deposit back??? or have we lost it??

I'd still love to ride up with you folks if still possible, I had a wonderful time, with all four of you, at our lunch meeting..and looking forward to more meetings, and bike rides...

4 weeks and counting

Hey we have plenty to do. Some old friends and new people. I guess That grand prize of a week end vacation at Cape Cod is going to be on hold til next time if we ever do one again. I will have door prizes. Possibly trophy or 2 . If we hit 40 people we were thinking to give a trip away ..only 33 days left. Can't wait PAULA is excited about meeting my friends and ridding.small group but still going to be a great time. As I said I would love to have 60 people come but it is much easier with this small group. Maybe someone else will pick up next year and do a rally

We are still planning on leaving MD on the 22nd, overnight in Stroudsburg PA then arriving on the 23rd.

Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!! Think I blew my oil pump in mid NJ on I-78 earlier. Limped into hotel. To late for u haul rentals tonight. Hoping I can set something up in morning. 100 miles from home. I think severe traffic in NYC to blame. After came out of tunnel, let it rest for awhile.

That all said, depending on how fast it can be repaired, I may just trailer the 2 wheeler up to rally. But I still plan on being there.

They fooled me. I made it fine until 3 blocks before the Holland tunnel. Best guess is milder version of blown engine a couple years ago. My local bike shop has mentioned to me how HD press-fits the flywheel on. Local shop says they have better way of Locking it on. I can’t remember if welding or line punch or whatever. When engine last rebuilt, I brought this up to HD. They just did it their usual way. So, I am assuming with flywheel shift came oil pump miss-timing. And lack of flow. Also, in middle of tunnel, error code P0113. Seems to be air temp sensor by intake. Went. Got off hwy in Basking Ridge, NJ as soon as I saw low pressure. Checked into nearest hotel. Courtyard by Marriott. Turns out there are a lot of pharmaceutical companies by here. People fly from all over world. So they get their piece of the drug money. With tax, room was over $400....and no breakfast included. At least my company will pay it. If they know what is good for them.

Last weekend I stopped at the resort and they are looking forward to our trike rally. They run ads in the NY Post every week and said he was going to add the trike rally into the ad. There are still rooms available but we also have a few rooms that are now reserved for other guests.

Hopefully this weather pattern we are now in will clear out and the week of the rally is nice....we have a few weeks yet.

Just got the trike to shop this morning. Not optimistic of it being ready by rally. So hopefully dry and I will trailer up the 2-wheeler. Freakin' HD. Rebuilt engine only got 50k.

I also can't believe that it takes all summer to fix it. My machanic can rebuild a motor in 3 days .
