Riding is our Hobby and passion. Some go fishing some go hunting. Cruise ships bore us. The first year of retirement resulted in a little less riding. Adjustment period. You can plan all you want retirement is still a shock. When you have little spare time you make the best of what you have. Seemed like retirement caused a we can go next week way of thinking. Over that now. Two funerals in the last 3 weeks of people we know that lived long great lives sever as a remind do it now while you can.Originally Posted by Jack Klarich

Even after 43 years after a long day of riding in the rain the most fun is drying each other off at the end of the day. Summer storm chasing ride are still a lot of fun.
We see the sidecar as a way to extend the years. We demoed some trikes , and they did not met our needs. Just not the storage we wanted and trailers were out of the question for us. We are not done with two wheels yet. This will just give us more options.
The ARK last May 3 days of pouring rain. What better weather for a visit to the ARK. Part of a 2 week ride.

I am resurrecting an 82 Goldwing Interstate, along with a Vetter Terraplane sidecar. Stripping the Wing naked, then plan to add a Windjammer V and Vetter Bags & Trunk. It's a retro work in progress. Both were "barn finds", but the price was right for both. It keeps me busy, when I am not riding the Voyager, and allows me to spend money on something other than silly stuff. Would enjoy batting the breeze with anybody involved in similar projects. No pictures yet as every thing is scattered around the garage
