Kenneth! Welcome to TrikeTalk from west Texas!
I have a 2008 GL1800 with the Motor Trike IRS Adventure kit. Like it a lot.
I have driven a GL1800 Roadsmith - liked it a lot too!
You might want to find one of each to test drive before you decide.
The Roadsmith I drove had the auxiliary gas tank. My Motor Trike does not have that. Not sure if Motor Trike makes a kit with an auxiliary gas tank - if that’s important to you.

Kenneth, Welcome to Trike Talk Forum. There is a lot of information and just about as many differing opinions on trike conversions for your Goldwing. They are all good. Speak to the members and check out your local dealers too.

welcome aboard Kenneth. Both of those are top of the line conversions. Do some reading on this forum search for conversion questions. The most important first stop is to find a GOOD installer. Also Road Smith is in your neck of the woods.

Welcome from the Gang from Western Colorado.
Welcome to Trike Talk from a former Minnesotan. We had a Motor Trike straight axle on our '94 GL1500 - it was a quality kit and we liked it, though it was an older model, even before the airbag suspension. Roadsmith is close to you in White Bear Lake, but there must be Motor Trike dealers in Minnesota. Ride both and find a good installer no matter what one you choose.
After you decide, if you haven't yet, check out this thread - lots of information for new trikers from experienced riders: https://www.triketalk.com/forum/thre...ike-Great-Info!
BTW - used to love stopping in Hinckley on the way to Duluth in the days before the casino came in. There was a great little place with good burgers and great onion rings callel Bosco's.

Some times I wish my dad was still alive so he would just say Kenneth just order the dam thing and be done with it and go do something else your are spending to much time thinking about what to do. And yes my wife is telling me the same thing but its just not the same. Thanks again.
