Gas in the auxiliary tank is not moving to the main tank when I flip the switch. I can hear the motor working. I'm also looking for a replacement cap for a 2005 Goldwing Trike.

Do you have two red lights lit indicating there is fuel in the tank?
Possible that fuel filter is plugged? (It's inline right before the pump)
If you can hear the pump running then these are the only two reasons for no fuel moving that I can think unless the pump itself has gone bad.
Good luck.

Welcome aboard ANN you might just want to call Road Smith and get their opinion.

Thanks for the responses. I did indeed speak to Roadsmith. Their response was similar to what’s been suggested on the site. They no longer sell the replacement gas caps. I started looking on eBay. They suggested I try some Marine shops since the rear tank on the older trikes was styled after a marine engine. I have a mechanic investigating all of the suggestions. Thanks again.
One thing to keep in mind is the fuel pump is very slow to transfer fuel. It takes 20 minutes or so to get the fuel transferred to the main tank. When I first used mine I thought it was not working because It was so slow.
I had a fuel pump go down, a 2012 RS conversion. RS Daytona shop replaced under warranty. Yes, it can happen. If you can hear the pump and there's fuel in the aux tank, then what's left but the pump, or a plugged line?
I spoke to Roadsmith and Mike gave me the following application for the gas filter:
1968 Ford Fairland 302 V8 2 barrel carburetor fuel filter.
Thanks to everyone on the site for your responses. I wanted to share with you my final results. The filter costs $2.40.
Thanks for sharing, please let us know how difficult it is to change the fuel filter, and if that fixed your problem.
