Mitzie and I ride Recumbent Trike Bicycles now along with Regular Bicycles...preparing for and after Her knee replacement it became the best therapy We found....then it became a new "addiction"...We even have a 2-up Tandem Recumbent Trike now.............and Others.....
.....hey, at least They are "TRIKES".....

They could easily be a "healthy addition" to Your Other Motorized Trike(s)...amazing how much better You feel after a year or longer of riding...........do I miss Motorcycle Trikes...???...Yes I do...I rode Motorcycles, Trikes, Scooters for 46+ years, They are an addiction with me, just like Race Cars, Bicycles, etc. ...I still Love TRIKE TALK.com, and miss All of the Friends Mitzie and I made over the years and RALLIES...Good to be back.....

Either Crank will drive it, so either Rider can take a break...also it has IPS (independent pedal system), so both Riders can pedal at different RPM...Front Crank (mine) is about 2/3 of the power/resistance, with the rear (Mitzie's), having the remaining 1/3...You generally need/want Both pedaling on long/steep hills...with Bags, Gear, Accessories, etc., it weighs about 70 pounds and 10 feet long end to end, plus my 170 lbs and Mitzie's XXX lbs...the Single Rider Trikes I've owned have weighed from just 30 lbs (Catrike 700) to my present Trident Trikes Terrain Fat Tire's 50 lbs....so, to answer Your question, Mitzie is the back-up (if She wants to be...), and mandatory on large hills.....

That might be an option for me after my next knee replacement .... ... first one went sooooooo well I'm doing the next one in the fall.
Are those disc brakes I see? Just what kind of speed do you get out of those? Try not to run me over if you ever see any rollerblader. FYI If you ever make it out to Tucson area, the bicycle paths are to die for. I only saw one recumbent out there and lots of wannabe Tour De Francers.
Nice trikes. I've been looking for one myself now that I'm living in the city.
This one looks good.
