Is there a trick to removing the rubber pad on the parking brake. I have pulled and wiggled on it like crazy and no movement.

Squirt some WD40 in there, then use a thin blade screw driver from the inside (facing the gas tank) and pry, it should work itself off

I'll give it another go. Got some plastic pry bars to keep scratches down.
I just cut mine off ... LOL ... no patience.
Got it off. Didn't realize it had two notches holding it on. Wd-40 is your friend. Thanks for the help.
I solved the mystery.

Thats a shame, Like now if you had a Tri-Glide and you wanted to remove the park brake rubber pad, And you don't read the Freewheeler forum how would you know how to remove it....But then the question remains why remove it......''' Knowledge is never wasted, Sometimes its just stored away in the deep reaches of the brain...To be retrieved at a latter date.....Or maybe not' It don't matter it didn't cost any thing...

2019 Tri-Glide.......
I bought the parking brake extension from Mid-Step. This way I can move my Kuryakyn floor boards back some which covers the parking brake. I will take the extension in to my HD dealer and find a nice small brake pad to fit on it.
On the bike. Going to use the Streamliner Brake Pad.
Looks very nice. You did a good job.
