    I see the need for a BIG amp circuit breaker on the reverse motor circuit

    This has a heck of a job to do and pulls max current from the battery to do the job JMO

    Take notice of the heavy battery cables in this drawing, those draw high current

    Jack is on to something....

    If you back into the power of the motor: A single phase 12 volt motor that draws 150 amps would net out at 1.62 Kw or 2.17HP.... So overload protection at 150A is rational (from an electrical standpoint)

    Im not a truck driver , Or an engineer , And the only thing the military taught me about electricity was how to operate a Prick 20 so we could shoot and or blow people up AKA Fire missions night ambushes ..

    The main fuse is an 50 Amp, ''Not'' to be Confused with the Reverse Circuit Breaker which is 150 Amps....'You's can all thank me later.....Or not....

    Thank you fer what? I've been saying as much this whole friggen thread.And as far as a PRC20-...what did you serve in the war of 1812? I humped a AN/PRC77 as an RTO up hill and dale but never ever seen a dino like a 20.

    I had a deal going with the battery's....You want the plastic bag that they came in, You carry it till i have to change the battery , Gotta save weight any way you can...

    Default Reverse Motor Issue Solved

    Ended up sending the motor to Performance Starter, Canton, OH to have it rebuilt. Shipped it to them on a Tuesday and had a rebuilt motor back by the following Monday.

    Installed it yesterday and tested it, good so far, hopefully it last longer than the original.
