Avon Cobra Trike Front Tire Pressure

Got a little over 12,000 miles with my Cobra and that was running 38-39 cold. Only about 1600 miles of that was in twisties

I am at 17,500 right now and just ordered a new one. Down to the wear bars. I think I got about 20K on my first one. Not sure why this one did not get as many. I run 40 lbs cold. Will give 38 lbs cold a shot. Probably there anyway.

I run 41 lbs cold usually, but 38-39 seems reasonable enough.

38psi with summer air that expands 2 lbs more than winter air.

I also have the Traxxion AK-20 cartridges and Traxxion springs. At 41 psi the sharp bumps are rough so I've thought about dropping the pressure to 38 psi. I may give it a try.

Is there a way to tell if Traxxion cartridges and springs have been installed without disassembly? We bought my bride's 2010 GW w/ CSC kit last year. It was on consignment and we got very little info from the previous owner. Thanks.

I just had to replace my Avon Trike Tire with 6000 miles on it because of bubbles on the side of the tread.Went with another Avon Trike Tire,hope i am able to get better mileage out of the this one.

You may want to investigate your ADV valve then on left fork. It's possible that it could be stuck in the active position and that would explain a harsh stiff feeling.
