Raised mine 2" and 1/2" in back all the critters go down on rocker boxes not on fuel tank if that says anything I also added air deflection wings from DK Customs really stopped the glasses dance. These changes made a huge difference in wind in the face which means wind on motor a good thing. ride safe Fred

How do you know it dropped your temp 9-10 degrees? I have a 2017 Triglide and can't find any type of temp indicator system, oil or eng temp. Please let me know of how you monitor temps.
2015 Tri Glide Vivid Black. Customization work in progress to make it mine-when not riding it.
I just did the front lift. Even just doing that it may have made a little difference in how the wind came up around the lower part of the bike. I know when I ride with two other TG's many times when we stop and park their fans are funning for a minute or two and mine aren't on, so I assume mine is running slightly cooler.

Like others have said, the Power Vision is a useful tool, with lots of gauge options, besides being a powerful, easy to use Tuner.
That said, measuring temps on before and after of a mod can be a long process.
There are so many variables-
Ambient temp
Speed
Wind
Method of riding (shifting at same RPM, heavy or light throttle, engine braking or not, etc.)
Flat or hilly road
Load
Different fuels
and more
If everything is not the same, then it is really not apples to apples.
When we test, we have several test circuits. The one for testing temps is 65 miles long. We still have to wait for days with the same ambient temps, same wind and then we have to ride exactly the same. Cruise can make that easier on bikes that have it.
In all our controlled testing of Tank Lifts on Twin Cams and M8's, the temp drop varied between 10-15 degrees. All our testing was with the Deluxe Option.

I just ordered the DK Custom Wind Deflectors and the Deluxe 2" Tank lift for my 17 TGU. I figured any little bit I can do to lower the operating temp will be a good thing. I almost ordered the 3" lift but thought that might be a little to much?
I have a 2017 Freewheeler & went with the 1.5" lift deluxe option & can tell by my EITMS operation between this and last summer that it is cooler running & the various thermal temp readings I took range from 5-10° degrees cooler.

Yes, a 3" tank lift might have a clearance issue on the TG.
And, yes, the M8's will run much better and longer if they are cooled down...even though many do not feel the heat as much, they are just as hot as the TC's.
