Papa Zook hit the nail on the head. I had the same problems with my 2015. I put on the rake kit and the 2+2 sweepers. I love it now. Yes you'll get used to the difference, but it beats riding in a cage.

And just for the record ... you will develop muscles ..
Khrome Werks sweepers are the cheapest and easiest swap for bars. Harley wire extention are plug and play, about 30.00 through Boardtracker or Surdyke (20%) off..

Ditto on the Harley wire extensions for the switch controls. You don't need extension for the Twist Grip Sensor (TGS) as its wire is plenty long.
Another bar you might consider is WildOne 579 Bagger Low. It is the 'Rushmore' version of their very populer 575 model bar. It says 'low' and I don't know why as it is not. It is 2" wider and 2" pull back and 1 1/2" diameter. Looks great and fits me fine. I am about your height and have a 33" sleeve length. These bars let me sit comfortably without having to reach forward so much. Had the 575s on my last two Ultras and just put the 579s on my 2018 TG a couple months ago. Big improvement along with DK's 14" shocks and comfort lift kit.
Interested in lift kit, tried to pm but said I didn’t have permission, don’t understand that...email me at
