Devils Advocate Alert........Jack when i had a one man shop i guaranteed any job/work i did for all my customers....No time limit , But after it left my shop and then my customer or his customer decided that they were going to [In their mind] improve on it.. Then all bets guarantee wise are off... If you buy a vehicle any vehicle and want to improve in it and knowing the warrantee limitations , You can man up and bite the bullet , Or wait till the warrantee is over, Or buy used and do what you want, Or how bout if you think the bike needs to be improved because the manufacturer doesn't care .....Then don't buy the bike from them... Rant is almost over,
I think i'll move next to an air port and then complain about the noise...Rant is over...

I get it Bob and I do agree, BUT, don't tell me you are going to cancel the entire power train warranty when say a NON HD tuner is found but the design of the oil pump was flawed and caused the engine to grenade.
This is not even close to being realistic not to mention some wise guy with DEEP pockets will find a lawyer hungry enuff to take on the MOCO
I know this may be far fetched BUT IMO the MOCO cut a deal with the DEVIL and wants the customers to take the fall along with the little guys like D K Customs for helping their customer base? Rant is over

Jack,
I don't really understand the whole story and I think there are too many people involved to get a real sense of what is going on with the MOCO. Most manufacturers do not want their dirty laundry aired on websites such as ours and they maintain a high level of deniability until someone forces them to change their behavior. Generally, the government is slow to act and I don't know of any deep pockets that would maintain much interest in trying to go after the MOCO. I think things will rock along as they are and Harley will continue to lose market share as the demographics of motorized vehicles changes. I have a subscription to Hagerty's that insures my street legal race car and they surmise that the future of combustion engine vehicles will be significantly diminished to almost non-existence in about 15 years. Because of this, I don't see companies like Harley really thriving 20 years from now. I think combustion engine bikes/trikes will be more novelty than a highly sought after leisure pursuit. The Millenials really don't care all that much about cars or bikes and they certainly are losing the skill of shifting manual transmissions. Unfortunately, most of us on these sites are "dinosaurs" that don't realize that we are becoming extinct. As a former scientist, I really wish I could be around in 50 years to see how much things have changed but alas, that is highly unlikely. So, I will ride my vibrating, flawed, half-assed engineered motorpickle and enjoy it until they declare me dead or too incapacitated to ride
I really think MOCO has found an “ out “ to not honor warranty work. Blaming EPA ( even though they are the devil ) and having a back pocket reason to deny warranty....sucks!
im going to enjoy my trike, I’ll do as I please, warranty be damned! I may be screwing up,big time, but I bought it to have fun and ride comfortably....
pulling my Bushtec Trailer, getting rid of the heat is what I’m going to do...
thanks all for for the advice and B-day wishes.....I think I’m going with the PV...
