Have you tried Ebay or Amazon? I sometimes find items there that I cannot find anywhere else. Superseer.com may be able to make a custom design.
I have been looking around to buy half helmets for the wife and me. We both found helmets we liked made by Outlaw Helmets. Outlaw Helmets are sold, and owned, by LeatherUp.com. The USMC themed helmet is sold through the AAFEES exchanges but to get one in my size I have to go to Ft. Sam, pay for it and go back in 2-3 weeks when it is shipped from Ft. Hood. WalMart and Amazon sells them but they are shipped from LeatherUp. The LeatherUp site shows them out of stock and customer service says they won't be available until next year.
Same story for the helmet the wife wants. I had hers in a cart and got an email on June 3 saying it would be reserved for 48 hours. When I tried to check out on the 4th it said no longer available. Another call to customer service. The answer was basically tough ****!
Hell of a way to run a company. I will be looking at other companies and brands to spend my money with. Obvious to me that Outlaw Helmets and LeatherUp don't care about their customers or reputation. I have already 'unsubscribed' to their emails and deleted them from my favorites list.
HCI had a USMC themed helmet but I think they discontinued it. I have an enquiry out to them about its availability. If it isn't still made I will probably go with others of their helmet designs for both of us.

America's first lady trike builder.
I look for stuff online and then go to my local dealer and say, " what can you get similar to XXXXXXX ?. With XXXXXXXX being whatever you want. They all Google too so you can give them a link to look at. He can normally find something but I've never asked for any military type stuff. I'd ask you local dealers anyway and give them a shot at it. If we don't support them we'll soon only have Amazon or eBay. That's not good. They already act like they are the only game in town.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.

Only one shows up on EBay under USMC or Marine motorcycle helmet and it is a small. Amazon, Sgt Grit (grunt.com) and several motorcycle parts sites list them but they are supplied by Leather Up and are out of stock. Same thing at the exchange at Ft. Sam Houston. I haven't tried local shops/dealers since Outlaw is owned by Leather Up and distribution appeared to be tightly controlled.
How about getting a black one and add your own USMA wrap or decal???

We went a different route and ordered helmets from HCI. Eagle/flags for me and lady rider/roses for her. Both are silver base color so they will reflect heat better and they are vented.
Are they DOT approved?
The ones I ordered are DOT approved. HCI has over 100 DOT helmets in their regular line from half helmets to full face. The helmets in the 'Airbrush' section are no longer being produced and what they have left do not appear to be DOT approved. What to avoid for riding use are the novelty helmets. None of those lids are DOT certified.
