Which anti-freeze, green or pink?

My twin cooled twin cam burped some water out of the right side radiator yesterday and I need to check it, I'am pretty sure it uses pink for alumin. Any feed back would be appreciated. I'am not going to rush right over to Harley and pay for a quart what I can buy a gallon for and I do know how to mix 50/50. Thanks guys

Go to Walmart and buy a gallon of 50-50 premixed pink ��

Just to add are you sure the radiator cap is on tight burping is not normal ��

It could be if it's a 14 or 15, there's a service bulletin to replace the neck assembly on some of them.

all it has is a small expansion tank wit a flip lid on top

Its listed as Cap- Pressure......I guess its just Semantic's....

Peak Global Lifetime 50/50 in a gold-colored bottle.

This is what HD uses , you can find it @ Napa and Walmart cheaper

Dont be confused by the colors, it is just a different dye being used

Jack if you are still in warranty and you have a problem with the cooling system , You might have some explaining as to why you have green in a pink system, There is a reason for the different colors...Just saying ....

Nah, the color is just dye

Once again you DO NOT have to use Harley products. As long as the one you are using meets or exceeds the manufactures specs

Also, Prestone was 1 of the first coolants that you could mix and match green with others

Not sure about the Peak anti freeze

Coolant will no doubt be the Next oil thread

I have 2 gallons of orange antifreeze sitting on a shelf in the back of my barn left over from when i had a 1971 VW Beetle......Can i now mix it with Green antifreeze, Or will it be better to mix it with Pink antifreeze . And if so what percentage should i use in the green antifreeze , And also would it be the same percentage if i mix it with the Pink antifreeze..

Or can i just mix Orange, Green and Pink antifreeze together and if i can mix them all together at what percentages would be best...

All these colors are starting to confuse more than usual..

Some of the older anti freezes were not meant to be mixed PERIOD

Modern day anti freezes are multi use ( we had an AC/ Coolant class before I retired, the trainer let it be known @ that time there were 4 major manufactures of anti freeze, all others bought their products and had it packaged for their sales)

That said I go back to the color, it really is only a dye, look at Toyota's red anti freeze, not a BIG deal tho some folks panic over mixing

I have NEVER been a big fan of GM and their Dex Cool fiascos

If you mix all colors together you will get black then it won’t matter what you use .
