Greg,
What you've found has ultimately been the "norm". Due to the size & unique shape new tooling has been the commonality for the great majority of companies. Even ones such as the one linked above, while they do have capabilities for large materials such as construction equipment, their current molds aren't set up for the aggressive curvature that the Stallion windshield has. With their potential price point if someone had one to send them I don't see a down side (especially if they can offer direct sales & meet that $400-800 price range!); but I wouldn't hold my breath too much either as it's very likely they'd have to have new tooling, etc to produce it.
Hi Richard,
When I was talking with Peggy at Racing Shields she was looking at pictures of the Stallion and from that she told me that if they have the mold that the cost of a Stallion windshield would cost in the range of $400-$800. If you want to start stocking windshields for any of the Stallion owners I would suggest you contact Peggy at Racing Shields at 1-800-554-7527. I have been doing this leg work because I'm possibly looking at buying a stallion that is missing a windshield. I currently don't even own a stallion. I will let you take it from here, good luck.
Greg
