Oil Change Cost
Have you had a HD Dealer change all three holes for an Oil change only ? What was the cost ?
One local HD Dealer here had a special for a Reg. Service for a 1,000 mile up to a 20,000 mile for $350.00 with Reg. Oil not Syn 3.
I would like to compare costs.

I checked while waiting for the aux cable to be installed .... $225 for three holes, syn 3 is extra ... my dealer gets $99 an hour.
About $60. Do it myself.

If the $350 is for a complete service (1k, 5k, 10k, etc.) as stated in the service schedule then that does not sound bad. But if it is just fluid change only and no other service work performed then it seems a bit high to me. Personally I'm offended by the ridiculous prices for the fluids and labor to do simple fluid changes. Fortunately I am able and equipped to do them myself so I can save big $$ and know they are done correctly. Don't want a horror story of the primary or tranny being left dry . . . and believe me it has happened - probably more often then we'd want to know.
